Lobuin, Vanessa and Soma are three women from very different parts of the world, but with one thing in common: all of them are losing everything due to the effects of global warming and are forced to migrate in order to survive. Mariposas negras tells their stories, their struggle not to disappear, despite the fact that their place of origin no longer exists. A powerful animated film, inspired by the lives of real women, lives like those of thousands of people who suffer the consequences of climate change on a daily basis. Lives that deserve to be told.
