Giovanni Cioni is a filmmaker-farmer. Every year, in his home in Mugello, he hosts a workshop blending cinema, farming, and shared living. An open atelier where filmmakers explore his way of inhabiting and narrating the world. The 2024 edition included the participation of: Lena Rumy, Ludovica Mantovan, Elena Magnani, Tommaso Manca, Anna Crotti, Maria Vittoria Daquino, Asia Miralli, Egidia Morabito, Lorenzo Giordano, Maria Cristina Giménez Cavallo, Carla Macrì, Emma Onesti, Simone Rosset.

Giovanni Cioni is a filmmaker whose work moves between documentary, diary, and dream. His films have been shown at international festivals such as Locarno, Cinéma du Réel, Visions du Réel, and Doclisboa. He lives and works in Mugello, where he also farms the land.
