Synopsis

Mar de Molada documents the eponymous open-air performance created by Marco Paolini, a collective journey realized with communities along the Piave River, from the Marmolada to the Adriatic Sea. Across four itinerant events, the documentary weaves together theatre, science, and poetry to explore the relationship between water and territory. Paolini engages in dialogue with scientists, artists, and locals to raise awareness about critical issues such as land consumption, water resource management, and climate adaptation, delivering a theatre of “civil prevention” and ecological awareness.
