Synopsis

Adam lives his days in an unchanging routine, marked by growing anxiety and a lack of answers that keeps him in a constant state of crisis. The fear that the Earth may be approaching an untimely end is an increasingly widespread (and justified) concern. In an attempt to heal himself through a strange sun lamp, he comes into contact with the voice of Tina, who begins to offer him unexpected glimmers of hope. Can the end of the world coincide with the beginning of love? In this eccentric romantic comedy, infused with dry, neurotic humour, Anne Émond captures the existential anxieties of the present (eco-anxiety and emotional fragility), confirming the attentiveness and freshness of Canadian cinema in portraying contemporary life.
