During his prayers in a temple, a young Buddhist monk is distracted by the arrival of a small bird. Driven by curiosity, he decides to follow it, moving through the changing seasons and observing the transformations of the natural world. Upon returning to the temple, he discovers that he has become the master who, as a child, guided him on his path of meditation. Sparrow is a simple and poetic tale about the cycle of life.

Rémi Duran is a French animator. Sparrow is his graduation film, selected and nominated for the European Film Awards in the category dedicated to animated short films.
