Using natural materials collected in Taiwan, Taiwan Nature recreates the island’s diverse landscapes through stop-motion animation. From mountain liquidambar seeds to red quinoa, wheat and wildflowers, up to oysters and seashells from the sea, each element comes to life, composing a landscape in constant transformation. A visual journey through the textures, colours and forms of Taiwan’s natural world.
Raito Low Jing-Yi is a Malaysian stop-motion artist based in Taiwan. Founder of Raito’s Art Studio, she works with natural materials to explore connections between personal experiences and the natural world.
